Cooling Portland - Free Cooling Unit

About

Cooling Portland, funded by the Portland Clean Energy Fund, provides a free portable cooling unit to Portland residents whose household income is at or below 60% of Area Median Income and who do not currently have a functioning cooling system. There is a waitlist, with priority for people over 60, those with heat-risk medical conditions, and people living alone. Applications are open through June 30, 2026; the unit is installed at your Portland address. Apply online or call 311 (503-823-4000).
