Portland Fruit Tree Project organizes volunteers to harvest fruit from urban trees and community orchards so it doesn't go to waste, then gets that fresh produce back to the community. It also offers tree-care services and resources for fruit-tree owners. Residents can register their trees, request a harvest, or do a DIY harvest drop-off; harvest season is summer.
