Last updated Jun 2026

About

Outside In is a Portland nonprofit clinic that integrates gender-affirming care into all of its health services for transgender and gender-diverse patients. Services include affirming primary care, gender-affirming hormone therapy via Oregon's informed-consent model, HIV/STI testing, mental health support, and a transgender ID/name-change project. The clinic has served trans patients since the mid-1990s and welcomes patients regardless of legal name; people can become patients through the clinic intake process on the website.
