About

Oregon's Driver and Motor Vehicle Services issues state IDs and driver licenses. Allows M, F, or X gender markers without medical documentation requirement. Updating chosen name on ID requires a court-ordered name change; updating gender marker does not. Critical first stop after a name change court order, DMV ID flows downstream to almost every other system the client interacts with.
