About

New Narrative, formerly Cascadia Behavioral Healthcare, provides a full continuum of mental health services for adults across the greater Portland area, built around helping people find stable housing, work, and community. Programs include outpatient and residential mental health treatment, transitional and permanent supportive housing, supported and independent apartments such as Douglas Fir Apartments, a peer-run Sustainable Housing Program, and 24/7 staffed residential facilities. Most residential programs are reached through a community mental health program or referral, not direct public intake. Residential and referral line (503) 726-3742; for county referrals call 211.
