About
Citizens for Safe Schools is a Klamath Basin youth-serving nonprofit founded in 1999, focused on mentoring, suicide prevention, and safer spaces for young people. Its LGBTQ+ work includes building resources and protective supports for the local queer community and a Pride Circle for LGBTQ+ and Two-Spirit youth ages 8-24 and supportive adults, with youth-led peer mentoring. The organization has co-sponsored Klamath Pride and engages youth through mentoring circles and programming.
