Camp Starlight is a free weeklong residential summer camp serving children in Oregon and Washington, founded in 1999 and expanded in 2025 to welcome youth who identify as LGBTQIA+ or who are children of LGBTQIA+ parents, alongside children affected by HIV/AIDS. With a near one-to-one camper-to-volunteer ratio and medical, educational, and mental-health staff on site, it offers a safe, affirming camp week at no cost. 2026 session July 26-31. info@camp-starlight.org, 503-964-1516.
