About
Founded in 2018, The UPRISE Collective is a Black- and Indigenous-led membership organization built by and for BIPOC, Queer/Trans, and Disabled community members. Their work spans organizational equity training, community programming and storytelling event series, the Feed Our People mutual-aid project, and disability justice. They center lived experience and offer ways to plug in through membership, volunteering, and community events. The organization is explicitly QTBIPOC-centered.
