About
The SAFE Project supports survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault across Coos County through advocacy, outreach, support groups, emergency shelter, and community education. A 24-hour crisis response team responds to homes, hospitals, and police stations, and the agency operates confidential emergency shelters for adults and their children fleeing violence. Its values explicitly commit to working against homophobia, and its nondiscrimination policy covers gender identity and sexual orientation. Reach the 24-hour crisis line at 541-756-7000.
