Since 1986, Siuslaw Outreach Services (SOS) has served people in crisis in western Lane County from its base in Florence. SOS provides confidential advocacy for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, and sex trafficking, including safety planning, legal advocacy, emergency shelter, support groups, and services for children and youth. It also runs homelessness-prevention and rapid re-housing programs, rent and utility assistance, and self-sufficiency education. Call (541) 997-2816 or the 24-hour crisis line at (541) 997-4444.
