Salt & Sage

Salt and Sage is a theatre company based in Portland, Oregon, dedicated to foregrounding the female experience and exploring the personal and political dimensions of sexuality through live performance. The organization produces a mix of new works and innovative stagings of classic plays, particularly Shakespeare, and provides space for actor training and artistic growth. Salt and Sage also collaborates with artists from other mediums to expand understanding of the human experience and engage diverse audiences.
