About

PERIOD. (Period Inc) is a youth-powered nonprofit founded in Portland in 2014 that works to eradicate period poverty and menstrual stigma through service, education, and advocacy. It equips a network of youth-led chapters to collect and distribute period products in their communities, produces menstrual-health education resources, and advocates for policy such as repealing the tampon tax and stocking products in schools. Local product access is via affiliated chapters.
