Peace at Home Advocacy Center (formerly Battered Persons' Advocacy) serves survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking, and human trafficking in Douglas County. Services include emergency shelter, a free and confidential 24/7 crisis line, in-person peer counseling, safety and danger-assessment planning, and referrals; the shelter can also house clients' animals.
