About

OUT in the Wild provides inclusive, equitable outdoor programming for the LGBTQIA2S+ community, run by an all-queer team based in Bend. Programs include rock climbing and backpacking courses, river and lake trips, snowshoeing, monthly climb nights, and an annual multi-day OUT in the Wild Festival at Smith Rock. Founded in 2020, it aims to make the outdoors a safer, more welcoming space; people sign up for courses and events through the website.
