Details
On The Inside (OTI) is a Portland-based nonprofit that brings rehumanizing, trauma-informed programming into women's prisons, including art, writing, and yoga classes plus a six-month mother-child reunification program. In Oregon they teach weekly classes at Coffee Creek Correctional Facility. About half their facilitators were previously incarcerated and mentor participants out of cycles of self-harm, addiction, and incarceration. Connect through their website to give, take a class, or get involved.
