Details

Girls on the Run (operating as Girls on the Run Greater Oregon, formerly Portland Metro) delivers a fun, evidence-based positive-youth-development program twice a year for youth in 3rd through 8th grade, using conversation-based lessons and running games that build confidence and decision-making, ending in a celebratory 5K. It serves Benton, Clackamas, Deschutes, Jackson, Linn, Marion, Multnomah, and Washington Counties, and explicitly welcomes youth who identify as girls, gender-expansive, or gender non-conforming, including trans and nonbinary participants. Register or volunteer to coach through the website.
