Friendly House Elder Pride Services (formerly SAGE Metro Portland) has supported LGBTQ+ older adults for over 20 years through community-building, advocacy, education, and resource navigation. Programming includes in-person and virtual social events, information and referral, care coordination for those 60+, a Friendly Visitor companionship program, and advocacy on housing and aging policy, plus cultural-competency training for service providers. LGBTQ+ elders can engage by joining events, subscribing to the newsletter, or contacting the Information & Referral specialist at (503) 224-2640.
