About
Founded in Portland in 2008, Depave partners with schools, churches, housing sites, and volunteers to remove unnecessary pavement and transform it into gardens, rain gardens, and green gathering spaces, focusing on communities most affected by environmental injustice. It reduces urban heat and stormwater runoff while expanding access to greenspace, and offers trainings and consulting.
