Critical Resistance Portland is a local chapter of the national organization working to abolish the prison-industrial complex. Through its Care Not Cops campaign, the chapter organizes for city investment in housing, mental health, and life-sustaining services instead of policing, and offers political education and prisoner-solidarity work.
