The Black Parent Initiative (BPI), founded in 2006, is a culturally specific, community-based nonprofit focused on supporting Black and African American families, with a core emphasis on children ages 0-10. BPI helps families pursue educational, financial, and spiritual well-being through parent coaching, family support, and signature programs such as Sawubona and Together We Can.
